Wonder Woman is the film of the year

Wonder Woman has been in UK cinemas for less than a week and I'm telling you if you haven't watched it yet, you need to.

My sister and my dad have read every comic, watched every series and every film. They know EVERYTHING about Marvel and DC's heroes and villains. I go and watch the films with them because everyone is happy watching a superhero film, I quite enjoy them. But I frickin' loved this film!!!

It's a different kind of superhero film, it's so fresh! It's not just about beating the bad guy, it's about so much more.

Diana, Princess of the Amazons (that's Wonder Woman) lives on a paradise island isolated from mankind. The film is set in the First World War and when she saves a pilot's life (hottie, Chris Pine), she goes with him to help fight the war.

Gal Gadot is the perfect Wonder Woman! It's amazing to see her in a period where only men fought and watch her kick ass; walk across No Man's Land and save them. At this point, humanity is at it's most evil, creating more deadly weapons but she still meets so many people and sees that mankind is so much more than evil and jealousy. She has such a kind heart that you can't help but fall in love with. There is talk about the women's vote in the movie and Diana shows that she can defeat men on the battlefield. Wonder Woman is so gorgeous, she is so confident and not afraid to show off her body and I love it. I think that it sends out such a good message, this is a great feminist movie.

This film somehow seemed relevant to the events in the UK right now as it showed people standing together and doing the right thing in a war where many people did the wrong thing. This was so uplifting and empowering.

Wonder Woman gave me everything that I've ever wanted from a superhero film. I came home and watched so many interviews with Director Patty Jenkins and I think that she achieved exactly what she wanted, it was truly amazing. I hope that there will be another solo Wonder Woman movie coming our way in the future.
